Local Cheese Feature
These boxes are built around premium local cheeses from Lakeside Dairy, a genuine taste of Sturgeon County craftsmanship. This is a vegetarian charcuterie-style picnic where the cheese, acoutrements and haskap do all the heavy lifting, no meat required.
Cheese selections rotate based on availability and may include Alpine, Clothbound Cheddar, Alberta Butter Cheese, Chaga Cheddar, Aged Cheddar, Fromage Blanc, and cheese curds.

The Rosy Farms Orchard Cheese Picnic Box is a single-serve, ready-to-enjoy picnic experience designed for guests who want to turn their U-Pick visit into something a little more special. Come solo, book two for a date, or order a stack for the whole crew. Simple, local, delicious, and very Rosy Farms: a little bit fancy, a little bit farmy, and best enjoyed with purple fingers.
Located just 45 minutes from Edmonton and 30 minutes from St. Albert, there is genuinely no better place to eat good cheese outdoors in Alberta.
Bring your people, we will bring the cheese. Dress for the farm with comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, or a light jacket depending on the day. And bring your camera, because orchard picnics are dangerously cute. If you are planning to U-Pick before or after, bring your own shallow containers for the best berry-carrying results.
Each single-serve picnic box is curated with: premium local artisan cheese from LakeSide Dairy, fresh bread and/or artisan crackers, Rosy Farms haskap jam, a seasonal fruit or farm-style pairing, Twisted Fork mustard, honey or another rotating local condiment, and a napkin and simple picnic serving items. Picnic blanket access is included based on availability.

There is no set time during business hours, come when you want to on the day you book, it will be ready.

Pick up your package any time during the day you book, there is no set start time.
Grab a blanket, choose your orchard spot, and settle in. Our team will point you toward the best picnic-friendly areas.
Each box is designed as a single-person serving, so please book one box per person.
For couples, families, or groups, simply select the number of boxes you need when booking. Easy as pie - or in this case, easy as cheese.
Selections may vary based on seasonal availability and what our local suppliers have on hand.
Picnic boxes are prepared in advance, so please cancel or make changes at least 24 hours before your booking to receive a refund or reschedule.
If the weather is not picnic-friendly, we may offer a reschedule or suggest a more sheltered spot on the farm.
